Dr. Atiq Durrani has an extensive educational history that originated in Pakistan. As a young adult, Dr. Atiq Durrani attended secondary school in Multan, Pakistan at the LaSalle High School. In 1983, Dr. Atiq Durrani graduated from high school and passed his Catholic Board Secondary School Examination. After receiving his secondary school certificate, Dr. Atiq Durrani entered Pre-Medical school at Government College. Government College is located in Multan, Pakistan where Dr. Atiq Durrani grew up. In 1985, Dr. Atiq Durrani passed his Pre-Medical Board Certification Examination.
In 1986, Dr. Atiq Durrani began his training in Medical School at the Army Medical College at Quaid-e-Azam International University in Islamabad, Pakistan. There, Dr. Atiq Durrani was trained to become a doctor with the title MD. In September of 1990, Dr. Atiq Durrani was given his MD certification by the National Board of Medical Examiners in the United States. In 1991, Dr. Atiq Durrani passed the MBBS examination, completing his medical school training.
Following medical school in Islamabad, Pakistan, Dr. Atiq Durrani moved to the United States for his post-graduate training. In July of 1999, Dr. Atiq Durrani started in the Orthopedic Residency Training Program at the University of Cincinnati in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. Here Dr. Atiq Durrani got hands on experience that prepared him for his future career in orthopedic medicine. Dr. Atiq Durrani completed his residency in June of 2003.
After his residency career was complete, Dr. Atiq Durrani went on to participate in several fellowship trainings around the United States. Dr. Atiq Durrani became an expert in the field of orthopedic medicine specializing in orthopedic oncology, pediatrics, and spine surgery. Today, Dr. Atiq Durrani is a leader in his field, and is revolutionizing the techniques and practices of orthopedic medicine. Dr. Atiq Durrani is responsible for some of the most advanced research in this field.
